Questions
Where do we meet for the tour?
Our van will pick you up at a designated hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. We pick up at most major Strip hotels, or within walking distance of most. Details will be on your confirmation, or you can call our office to speak to a reservation specialist.
What time will we get back?
The tour is approximately 6 hours door to door.
What is included during the trip?
Horseback riding tours are all inclusive. Round trip transportation to and from Las Vegas, along with all in-park transfers and fees, is included. All saftey equipment is provided, and you will receive riding instruction from our Cowboy Wranglers. Lunch and Bottled Water is also included.
Do you offer student discounts?
Yes! We offer student student rates, which are discounted $10. You must supply a valid/current student ID to qualify.
Do you offer any discounts for children (or other)?
Children 14 years and younger receive a $10 dollar discount per person.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
For the safety and enjoyment of everyone on the horseback riding trips, we ask that children be at least 14 years or older.
What kind of experience do your Wranglers have?
Our Wranglers have years of guiding and roping experience with horses; both personally and professionally. They possess knowledge of the horses, trails, wildlife, plants, and weather patterns. They undergo strict training programs which prepare them to manage groups, make good decisions, and handle emergencies. CPR and First Aid training, as well as Wilderness First Aid or First Responder is standard. Oh yeah, and they've been known to tell a joke or two.

What should I bring/wear?
Take a look at our packing list section, for a complete outline of items to bring on the Horseback Riding Tours. If you have questions, don't hesitate to call our office. We will be happy to answer any questions you have about clothing, cowboy boots, saddle sores (just kidding), etc.
Do you supply alcohol? May we bring our own?
Alcohol is not allowed on horseback riding tours. If you smell like alcohol after a late night in Vegas, our guides will likely make you wait in the barn until everyone returns. Safety is our main concern.
When should I make a reservation?
Space is limited, so you should make your reservations as soon as possible. This trip fills up fast in Spring and Fall months when weather is fabulous.
Are there minimum participant requirements?
Our horseback tours operate with a minimum of 2 participants, as long as space is available.
Should I buy travel insurance?
If you are concerned about the possibility of having to cancel, we strongly suggest you purchase trip cancellation
insurance to protect your vacation investment. Our cancellation policy will apply in every instance, with no
exceptions for any reason. Desert Adventures is not responsible for any expenses incurred due to travel delays,
flight cancellations, or illness. Desert Adventures assumes no financial responsibility for personal injury,
emergency evacuation, or equipment lost or damaged in any way.
What if I have to cancel?
We have a 14 day cancellation policy. Cancellations made 2 weeks prior to departure date will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within those dates will be issued a percentage of their refund, with absolutely no refunds or
rescheduling within 48 hours. If you must reschedule, we require 48 hours notice and rescheduling fees
will apply. Desert Adventures will not issue any refund for leaving a trip early.
Trips run rain or shine. Desert Adventures reserves the right to cancel trips due to weather or unsafe
conditions. In this case, we will reschedule, issue a credit, or refund money, depending on individual
circumstances.
